I was originally hired at Old Bust Head to focus on community outreach, public relations and social media, to increase community engagement at events and drive local participation. In that regard I cultivated relationships with local businesses to develop collaborative partnerships and co-host successful events in the Vint Hill area of Warrenton VA. I implemented comprehensive social media strategies to elevate the brewery's online presence, increase website traffic, and promote events. This included creating original, on-brand content designed to attract and retain customers, as well as establishing brand guidelines for positive and professional social media interactions by sales representatives and taproom staff. After realizing my eye for graphics I began creating posters, flyers, and merchandise as an in-house graphic designer. Utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite, I designed marketing collateral and designed and created labels and packaging for limited-release beers. Furthermore, I managed email marketing programs via Mailchimp, overseeing design, scheduling, and maintenance. I also attended the Craft Beer Conference and Savor Craft Beer and Food Experience as a representative and photographer for the brewery.
